Da lì nasce con Alessandro di Terni, il fondatore, un legame particolare che oggi ha un risultato straordinario: circa 6500 membri e una serie di iniziative importanti. Devo molto al giornalista Gabriele Carchidi, che grazie alla testata Cosenza Sport, dopo l’estate risveglia le coscienze con una serie di articoli d’inchiesta e il 27 dicembre Cosenza risponde in massa con una bellissima manifestazione davanti al tribunale . Ma in generale da due anni sento molta vicinanza da parte di tutti, e più volte torno in Calabria. L’associazione "Verità per Denis", che raccoglie fondi per le spese legali e ha un proprio bollettino ufficiale d’informazione. Ringrazio i mass-media che ci seguono e la gente che vuole bene a mio fratello.

E la politica si muove? La cosa straordinaria è che, in un momento in cui il confronto è aspro a livello nazionale, il caso Bergamini non conosce divisioni fra centro-sinistra e centro-destra.L’11 febbraio scorso erano presenti sia l’onorevole Bratti (Pd) che a fine 2010 ha presentato un’interrogazione parlamentare e sia il senatore Balboni (Pdl). Ma non scordo il sindaco di Argenta e molti amministratori locali, i primi che ci hanno sostenuto, anche nel contattare l’avvocato.
